ISO Cool Photos

Was a little bored today while Shawn played some NHL on the playstation.  I thought about a nap, but when I couldn't fall asleep, I decided to do a black and white series of photos.  I took some of my favorites and edited them a bit. (I think I was inspired by some Six Feet Under.) Thanks so much for looking!

Challenge: Accepted! I didn't realize how difficult it was to get a good photo of fish!  So many factors to consider. Lighting, reflection, and worst of all, focus.  No auto-focus here! So I without further ado; Castiel and Crowley. (from the TV show "Supernatural") Castiel, is a powerful angel of the Lord who was responsible for saving Dean Winchester from Hell. Crowley, a demon and the current King of Hell. And of course, Randall had to get in on the action...   By the end of the month, I will have played around with them and camera settings and will have much nicer photos!   Thanks for looking!

My nieces were in town for a few days and I figured they were old enough to "play" with my camera.  They turned 11 in February.  They are very artistic and it shows in these photos with the camera being on AUTO mode.  ** I did a little bit of editing to them, but I can not take the credit for the shot itself.** These are of Abby taken by her sister, Erika. This is the kind of stuff I LOVE to take photos of.  Places that were once filled with life and happiness.  Or maybe sadness.  One will never know.  Every place tells a story. These are just a few of my favorite places. This one was taken around Cape Jourimain just before the PEI bridge.  I got as close as I could, and if you look closely in the second picture, it looks like eyes staring back at you.  One of my favorites.  Taken in Black River Bridge Road close to Miramichi, NB.  Someday I will get back to this one and hope to get inside! But I am up riding high amongst the waves Where I can feel like I Have a soul that has been saved Where I can feel like I've Put away my early grave ~~Amongst The Waves by Pearl Jam~~ The beach... not one second is the same as the next... Black Brook Beach along the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.  This is one of my top three photos I have ever taken.  The white caps that I was able to capture while the wave hit the rocks was breath taking.  I can sit and listen to waves hit the beach and rocks all day.   This one was taken with Instagram ( pearlgirl10 ) at Escuminac Beach in New Brunswick This one was taken at a beach at the end of Point Aux Carr Road in Napan New Brunswick.   This one at Oak Point beach New Brunswick. It's all in how they are raised.  These beautiful beasts were more than playful when we arrived back from the wonderful trip to Fallbrook and Porter Falls.  (Pics of those to come later) This is Molly.  Partial to the Black and White This is Daisy She was very active, it was hard to get any focused photos of her, she was all over the place! I love fireworks! I looked through all the photos I had from this year's set and picked out 10 of my favorites.  I tried to focus on the colors instead of the whole picture.  I didn't care what was in the background as I cropped most of it out anyway.  I focused on the BOOM! Here are my 10 favs. There were also some that shot into the water and exploded from there.  Really nice!  Unfortunately I didn't get any good ones of those.  Maybe next year! Thanks for looking!

I have a lot of favorite smells. Here are a few of them photo wise :) (all from Miramichi, NB, except where noted) I LOVE the smell of Bon Fires.  Burning wood, and marshmellows... yum! The smell of rain on a hot summer evening or afternoon.  This was taken on a trip to PEI in 2012 and can't wait to get back soon!  This strawberry scented air freshener makes my car smell really great! Not really sure what these are, but they smell very nice. Thanks for looking, wish I was able to get all of my favorite smells in photos!
