Project 52 ~ Week 20

Image
This was taken the other night when my photo partner in crime, Sandy, and I went out on an excursion.  It was cold, and damp and very windy.  I was surprised at how clear it turned out for the wind we had. It was taken across from Beaubear's Island in Miramichi NB.  I loved the way the moon reflected on the water. Thanks for looking.

This was taken at one of my favorite spots.  L'ile Aux Foins in Neguac New Brunswick. Beautiful beach and boardwalk and lots of feathered friends. This light house stands just above the beach. Thanks for stopping by!

Project 52 ~ Week 18

I decided to go out for a night shoot tonight... Don't think I'd ever do it alone again.  After midnight, downtown Miramichi gets kinda spooky.  After trial and error, I finally managed to get a decent one of the bridge.  It's not the best, but I still like it.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Project 52 ~ Week 17

Yet again, I have fallen behind.  Time to catch up. This was taken on route to Bouctouche a few weeks ago.  Just stopped on the side of the road to enjoy the beauty of the melting snow. Thanks for looking!

Project 52 ~ Week 16

A ghost ship? Ship wreck? I dunno, but it's really cool!!  Not sure if it's open to walk on or what, but once the summer comes, I will be making a return visit and seeing it close up.  This makes me caught up for the proper week!! Woot!! Thanks for stopping by!

Project 52 ~ Week 15

It is almost beach time!  This was taken at the Irving Eco Center in Bouctouche this afternoon.  It was balmy 4 degrees.  Probably cooler at the water.  We watched a hawk do some fishing also.  Thanks for stopping by!

Father/Daughter Bonding

I did something today that I haven't done in a long time.  Went to the "Deer Yards" with dad.  He came to get me to go for a coffee, and I thought I would bring my camera because you never know what you may see.  I got in the truck and he told me I should have brought my camera.  At that point I held it up and said "I was going to see if you wanted to go to the deer yards! Great minds think alike! For those who don't know, the "Deer Yards" is a small community outside of town where there are deer aplenty in people's yards due to feeding them.  Sometimes you don't see any, and other times there are lots.  We saw 12 today.  Because I had to take the photos from the truck, This little lady was the only one I could get a good shot at.  Thanks for looking!
