Thought I would post some shots that were taken at night last weekend. My good friend, Heidi (from Blue Panda ) came up for the weekend and we headed out for a few hours. Could have spent a lot more out there too. Learned a few tips and tricks for night time shooting. Still working on my PhotoShop skills though! This one is of the art gallery at Ritchie's Wharf. Thought I would "antique" it too... Thanks for stopping by. I will have another night shot tomorrow!
I am normally really hard on myself, but when I was looking through some of my photos this morning (because I was awake an hour before my alarm was supposed to go off) I noticed quite a difference from when I first started. This creepy photo was what stood out. St. Michael's Basilica. I attended this church as a kid, and always found it spooky. Especially at night! This first photo was taken almost a year ago (Aug. 28 2013). Obviously no editing done what so ever to this particular photo, but I did straighten it up eventually. (tripod was used) Then there was this one, taken July 3, 2014. My car window was my tripod that night. This was the night Tropical Storm Arthur was arriving.(again, no editing) I am glad you took the time to have a look. Come on back tomorrow!
"The Things You See From The Highway" This. Only the back side. We stopped in Stewiack on the way to the Cabot Trail. From the highway you see a huge mastodon butt, when you take the exit to Mastodon Ridge , you can see the front, check out a pre-historic house and a pre-historic car, and a pet Dino! You are also standing halfway between the equator and North Pole! Thanks for stopping by, check back tomorrow!
