Cabot Trail

I had 2 days off together the same week Shawn had vacation.  We decided we'd take a trip around The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. 

Beautiful beaches on one side, and gorgeous mountains on the other.  This photo is of Black Brook Beach (I think).  It's part of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

The waves were coming in so clear and bright whitecaps smashing against the rocks... just beautiful!!
This, by far was the best part of the trip.  There were lots of look-out points, but I could actually go down on this beach. 

I deiced to post a black and white too.

Night Time Fun

Thought I would post some shots that were taken at night last weekend.  My good friend, Heidi (from Blue Panda ) came up for the weekend and we headed out for a few hours.  Could have spent a lot more out there too.  Learned a few tips and tricks for night time shooting.  Still working on my PhotoShop skills though! This one is of the art gallery at Ritchie's Wharf. Thought I would "antique" it too... Thanks for stopping by.  I will have another night shot tomorrow!
