Ol' Rusty

Image
Look up.  Look way up, and I'll call Rusty. Well, there isn't a Rooster in a bag, or a friendly giant or a blue giraffe, but there is some rust.  This first one was taken on the shore of the beach in Oak Point last summer, and the second one was taken somewhere along Highway 11 going towards Moncton. Thanks for stopping by.

Abandoned

Another great night out with some great girls! Went down to the wharf under the bridge tonight.  Old abandoned boat and empty building.  And I can't get enough of this bridge at night. Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you enjoy!

I've been falling in love with night shooting lately.  The colors of the sky, things in the shadows, and the lights.  The more I get out at night, the more I see things in the dark. Now mind you, I'd never do this kind of thing alone!  Or without bug repellent! Sandy and I tried to get some shots last night, but pretty much got carried away by the mosquitoes!! Got this one of the train bridge at the end of Wilson's Point.  No adjustments made to the color, just a few highlights. Thanks for stopping by!

Project 52 ~ Week 20

Image
This was taken the other night when my photo partner in crime, Sandy, and I went out on an excursion.  It was cold, and damp and very windy.  I was surprised at how clear it turned out for the wind we had. It was taken across from Beaubear's Island in Miramichi NB.  I loved the way the moon reflected on the water. Thanks for looking.

Project 52 - Week 19

This was taken at one of my favorite spots.  L'ile Aux Foins in Neguac New Brunswick. Beautiful beach and boardwalk and lots of feathered friends. This light house stands just above the beach. Thanks for stopping by!

Project 52 ~ Week 18

I decided to go out for a night shoot tonight... Don't think I'd ever do it alone again.  After midnight, downtown Miramichi gets kinda spooky.  After trial and error, I finally managed to get a decent one of the bridge.  It's not the best, but I still like it.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Project 52 ~ Week 17

Yet again, I have fallen behind.  Time to catch up. This was taken on route to Bouctouche a few weeks ago.  Just stopped on the side of the road to enjoy the beauty of the melting snow. Thanks for looking!
