ISO Cool Photos

I participated in my first wedding session this weekend.  I say participated because I was just one of two assistants.  The main photographer is doing 95% of the work! Sandy will be doing the proper editing for the wedding, this is one I did on my own.  I am new to PhotoShop and still learning the basics.  (Original) (finished product) I don't quite have the hang of it yet.  But by golly, I'm trying! This one was taken in the spring of this year.  It's part of the Strawberry Marsh trail here in Miramichi. A tunnel that goes under the highway.  I wasn't able to make it through this day due to the gigantic puddle in the middle of it :).  But once you get by, it's a beautiful trail to walk.  Thanks for stopping by, check back tomorrow!

This pretty little lady is Sadie.  She's our next door neighbor, and Randall just loves her.  Loves to sit in the patio door way and agitate the poor thing.  She's always on a leash so she can't get far.  She's a really good dog to have as a neighbor and her humans pick up after her!

For our final installment of lighthouses, I bring you my favorite shot I've taken.  This was last year at Cape Jourimain .  It's located down towards the Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island.  This one hasn't even been edited in anyway.  The skyline hit at the right angle, and that cute little bug photo bombed just at the right time. On a little island called Ile Aux Foins in Neguac, you will find this brightly painted lighthouse with the acadian colors.  Wonderful beach, fun play ground and nice boardwalk to walk around.  Thanks for stopping by.  Stay tuned for the last installment of the Lighthouse theme! 

This lighthouse is located at Ritchie Wharf on the beautiful Miramichi river.  My partner in crime and I were out practicing our night shots and came out with this beauty. Thank you for stopping by, and come back tomorrow for another!

This light house is at the end of Highway 113, on Miscou Island .  In the summer you can go in and get some information and history about the lighthouse and island.  You can even go up to the top and out on the deck.  Really cool spot.  Thanks for stopping by!  Check back tomorrow for another lighthouse!

You can't drive around Atlantic Canada and NOT see a light house. This one is from Prince Edward Island back in 2012, the last "vacation" Shawn and I took.  It's in a little town called Cape Traverse.  Of all the light houses we've seen, this was the only one I took a picture of.
